So, I’ve spent a week with the Motorola foldable flagship and the experience has been mostly positive. Before I talk about the small things I don’t like about this phone…I have to give Motorola some praise. The original Motorola Razr V3 was a little piece of art and technology ahead of it’s time back in 2004. It was well received and became a staple for the Motorola brand and in my opinion, one of the greatest phones of all time… Fast forward to today the newly updated flip phone keeps a lot of the design elements from yesteryear like the nostalgic Razr chin at the bottom, it still fits in your pocket and we didn’t lose that satisfying thunk when you close the phone.
With the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip released and hitting stores shortly, I'm feeling a bit of buyer's remorse and I'm not sure the Moto Razr competes with the Galaxy Z Flip in many different categories. With such a high price tag, both phones are expensive and luxury items but the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is cheaper while doing many things better than the Motorola Razr. There will be a Galaxy Z Flip vs Motorola Razr comparison coming soon but for now, I'm leaning towards Samsung Z Flip for the win.
