Molise PR Chicago spent the morning at Annali-Brookwood Farm to teach WCIU's Aly Bockler the basics of being an equestrian and talking about the 2014 Chicago Hunter Derby, a charity event presented by Chicago Equestrians for a Cause. This great event benefitted three outstanding charities: Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, the University of Chicago Cancer Research Foundation and the United States Hunter Jumper Association Foundation.

About Chicago Hunter Derby:
The 2014 Chicago Hunter Derby consists of three days of events and competition kicking off on the morning of Friday, September 5 with the International Derby Welcome Course Walk and ending with the International Derby Jog.
The second day of the event on Saturday, September 6 includes the first rounds of the $5,000 USHJA National Derby and the $50,000 USHJA International Derby, lunch, shopping, children’s’ activities including a petting zoo and face painting and the “Derby After Dark Party”, a casual evening featuring live music, great food and beverages.
The final day of the Chicago Hunter Derby is complete with the stylish Sunday Champagne Brunch, with a huge spread of great food, children’s activities, shopping, a raffle and more. Sunday’s premier event will be the handy round, featuring the top 12 riders after Saturday’s first round of competition, of the International Hunter Derby along with the awards presentation.
