Julie Ivanoff is a Master's of Architectural Studies student at Carleton University. In her TEDx talk, she explores the concept of Canada’s Digital Twin, and emphasizes the positive impacts of digital twin in urban development. Julie talks about the history of digital twins, and how they are currently used today in other places such as Rennes in France, New South of Wales in Australia, and the European Space Agency. Her exploration of digital twins around the world urges viewers to imagine a digital twin as a tangible reality of the future. Julie holds an expertise in Architecture. She is currently finishing her thesis in the Master of Architectural Studies program at Carleton University, where she is studying the UK's national digital twin initiative. She is also working at the Carleton Immersive Media Studio (CIMS) as a Research Team Lead on Imagining Canada's Digital Twin.
