आज मैं पौष मास के रविवार की कथा प्रस्तुत कर रही हूं। कुछ जगहों पर इसे अलूने रविवार की कथा भी कहा जाता है। ओम सूर्याय नमः
पौष मास सूर्य देव की आराधना व दान पुण्य का विशेष महत्त्व हैं | पौष मास में रविवार का व्रत कर भगवान सूर्य को पुष्प,अर्ध्य आदि के द्वारा पूजन करके आसानी से प्रसन्न किया जा सकता हैं | पौष मास के रविवार को व्रत करने वाले मनुष्य भगवान सूर्य नारायण की आराधना में तत्पर रहे तो सन्तान आज्ञाकारी होती हैं तथा माता पिता से अधिक स्नेह करती हैं | और सन्तान का तेज सूर्य के समान बढ़ता जाता हैं | प्रभाव , मान सम्मान ,समाज में प्रतिष्ठा मिलती हैं | जो महिलाएँ तथा कन्याएँ वर्ष भर के रविवार का व्रत करना चाहती हैं, वे इसी माह से रविवार के व्रत प्रारंभ करती हैं। पौष मास को खर मास, काला महीना अथवा मलमास भी कहा जाता है। इस महीने सभी शुभ कार्य वर्जित होते हैं |
