As gardeners, we know that connecting with the earth can help us slow down our days and reconnect to a more natural pace.

In this video, we share a glimpse into what an even more slowed-down pace can look like as we spend a day with filmmaker Joana Betzner at her family’s 400 year-old mountain home.

You’ll spend some time exploring the landscape of the Pyrenees, and feel a little enchantment near a mountain stream.

As Joana digs into the earth to plant a tree, you’ll have a chance to honour its roots as they connect with the earth.

And you’ll be treated to a beautiful, contemplative tea-making ritual.
