Very Small Bathroom Renovation UK PART 6 Chipping off tile adhesive What should i do?

Hiya Everyone, Welcome to Skint Living UK.
Here is PART 6 of my tiny bathroom renovation.
Today I've been slowly chipping off the old tile adhesive from the wall around the window, toilet and bath.
I used a wallpaper scrapper, putty knife and chisel to do this.
It took me longer to get it off behind the toilet than the rest of the wall did.
I used my old "work cushion" which I made myself from an old bed pillow and scraps of old denim jeans. Its years old but great to stop me hurting my knees.
As I've been working on the bathroom there are gaps around the ceiling, window and in the corner.
Any suggestions what I should fill it with?
As my bathroom ceiling is made of wood tongue and groove should I use a wood trim around the edges of the ceiling or go all out with coving??
