In this video, I’m taking my custom drill press table to the next level with a ton of new features — tool storage, dust collection, adjustable stops, and a few upgrades that make this setup a real game changer in the shop.

I’ll start by adding a compact drawer cabinet for tool storage, then extend the table crank to the front using miter gears so I can adjust the table height without reaching around the column. I also extended the locking handle to the side for quick access and added F-clamp slots right into the tabletop for easy clamping.

The table and fence got a clean cherry edge banding, plus a full T-track system — one track in the table for fence adjustment and another in the fence for my matched-grain adjustable stops (a little overkill, but that’s how we roll).

A new rounded, replaceable insert ties into the built-in downdraft dust collection system, while the updraft dust collection over the fence captures fine dust before it ever settles. And to keep all my go-to tools within reach, I added a simple magnetic tool tray from Harbor Freight.

All together, this build combines storage, precision, dust control, and usability — everything a good drill press table should have.
