In today's video we make our second custom snow globe. The first was "The Mushroom Fairy" in Episode 123. That one we decided to make after Ally found some figurines at the craft store that she thought would look good in a globe. About two days after we made that one we received an email from a gentleman in Barcelona Spain who found our channel and asked if it would be possible to make a snow globe for a doctor friend of his. This doctor is a neurologist and he wanted a snow globe with a figurine of a human brain. We had all of the parts we needed except for the brain. After a lot of searching we thankfully found Auston Coldon of Auzworks. He happens to make, among other things, 3D printed brains. We wanted the brain to be up off of the stopper. After searching the craft and hardware stores for ideas, we ended up using some material that we had and created a mount for the brain. It took about three weeks to complete but we believe the end result looks pretty good for our first time making a custom globe from almost scratch.
