Idli is a savoury rice cake made in Southern states of India. Idli is made from fermented batter It is very soft. Dosa is a rice pan cake also made from fermented batter.

Paniyaram is made from leftover batter of idli or dosa. It can be served as an evening snack or in tiffin of kids.

Ingredients required
Idli or dosa batter 1& 1/2 cup
Onions chopped 2 medium
Ginger 1" piece chopped
Chillies chopped 5 - 6
Coriander leaves chopped 1fist full
Rice flour 2 table spoon
All purpose flour (maida) 2 tablespoon
Backing soda 1pinch
Salt to taste
