THE BIRTHDAY INVITATION By Lucy Rowland & Laura Hughes

Ella is planning her birthday party so she writes out the invitations for her friends.
On the way to deliver the invitations one of them falls out of her bag and lands on the ground. What happens to the invitation after that is quite an adventure. First a wizard, then a pirate, a parrot and a princess get to read the invitation.
It floats away again and is read by a knight and a pilot.
Finally the invitation lands back inside Ella's pocket just in time for her to hand it to her friend.

On the day of the of the party Ella is surprised to see not only her friends at the door but also a crowd of others.
Everyone who had read the invitation had arrived for the party.
Each one told how they had come about reading the invitation before it went flying, floating or drifting away to the next recipient.

Ella ended up having a fantastic celebration.
