7. The Orange
The Orange, sold by Christie's in Geneva in November 2013, is one of the few orange diamonds graded as Fancy Vivid by the Gemological Institute of America.

6. The Princie Diamond
The Princie Diamond, as famed jeweler Van Cleef & Arpels named it, was discovered in India more than three centuries ago and owned by the royal family of Hyderabad.
The cushion-cut pink diamond, weighing 34.65 carats and classified as fancy intense by the GIA, is the world's third-largest diamond. It first appeared at auction in 1960, courtesy of Sotheby's, where Van Cleef paid $65,000 for it.

5. The Graff Pink
The 24.78 carats Graff Pink is classified as rare by the GIA and was described as "one of the most desirable diamonds I have ever seen" by the chairman of Sotheby's International Jewellery Division. Harry Winston first sold the ring to a private collector in the 1950s.

4. Josephine's Blue Moon
This is the fourth most expensive diamond in the world. A year after being discovered in South Africa in 2014, the Blue Moon diamond fetched the highest price paid for a diamond per carat at a Sotheby's auction in Geneva.
