Out of nowhere comes Pagan Online, some fresh new blood into the hack and slash aRPG genre that has been dominated by .. really only a single title. Pagan Online is developed and published by Mad Head Games & Wargaming - a powerhouse in the online game space. This new aRPG offers some unique twists to the genre- including doing away with the one character, one build mentality.. and instead allowing the player to unlock different heroes from a roster and choose between them based on the needs of a mission.

This aRPG is out now in an early access format but, and it's not just the money talking, seems to only have that designation because it isn't content complete. The way this aRPG plays and looks seem to be already up to par - almost the opposite story as most early access games.

True co-op in an aRPG is something I've wanted for a while.. working together and not just farming within XP share distance with builds so cluttered with particles and attack speed that you actually make the experience worse by playing in parties.

Here's hoping Pagan can deliver in the long term.

If you actually read all this description - honestly, no money bias, Pagan Online is really cool and if they update it on the cadence they've outlined - it could be really, really cool.
