How to propagate a Philodendron White Princess plant in water.
Let the cutting callous overnight then pop in water.
Wait for the roots to grow at least an inch long, I wait until they are three plus!
Plant into an Aroid mix, I added Soil & Microbe Booster which has Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium ratio of 4:2:2 plus iron, copper and zinc.
Pop the cuttings in the centre and make sure all roots are covered with your potting medium.
DRENCH the soil, this helps prevent transplant shock.

General Philodendron Care
The White Princess can be prone to spider mites and scale. To combat this, I spray the plant with diluted neem oil once a month.

For the Philodendron White Princess it’s important to remember that variegated plants thrive in brighter spots in your home. My plant is placed in a room with ample sunlight throughout the day, with a bit of direct morning sun. Too much direct sunlight, especially in the afternoon, can scorch the leaves.

Misting and occasionally showering the plant help maintain the humidity it craves, especially in drier climates like mine in Australia. Though some argue against misting, I find it relaxing and beneficial for my houseplants, preventing crispy leaf edges and tears during unfurling.

For watering, the Philodendron prefers consistently moist soil. I water mine every 7 to 10 days depending on the season and add liquid NPK fertiliser once a month in spring and summer, and seasonally in fall and winter. During the colder months, I use a grow light to compensate for reduced natural light. If you notice your plant’s variegation diminishing or leaves browning quickly, it might be a sign of insufficient light.

To grow bigger Philodendron leaves, ensure bright sunlight and consider staking the plant. Philodendrons are climbers, and providing support, like a trellis or moss pole, helps them grow larger leaves by conserving energy otherwise spent on maintaining their upright position. Also, don’t shy away from placing your plant in the rain—it helps clean the leaves and provides nutrients!

Pruning: Prune your plant to remove any leggy or unhealthy growth.
Toxicity: The Philodendron White Princess is toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Keep it out of reach of children and animals.
