Recording Drums with Universal Audio Apollo 8P (unison mic pres)

This video shows the Universal Audio Apollo 8P audio interface, recording drums with 8 channels of "Unison mic preamps".

The Unison mic pres are able to simulate famous solid state or tube mic pres and channel strips (such as API, Neve etc), so you can already commit to a certain sound vibe right away in the recording situation if you want to.

So we have compared different unison mic pre simulations in our 8 channel drum recording setup:

1) neutral
2) API Vision
3) Neve 1073
4) UA 610-A
5) Manley Voxbox

(no EQ/Comp, only the mic pre simulation is active)
