It’s business in the front and fun in the back with Uconnect Theater. Sure, parents love the fact that Uconnect Theater delivers customized entertainment to the kids in the back. But if that backseat party ever gets out of hand, you can take control of the system right from your touchscreen with Uconnect’s Parental Controls.

Just press UCONNECT THEATER CONTROLS and you’ll see a range of handy system overrides. You can mute the volume, activate or deactivate the backseat touchscreens and remote controls, or turn the system off. Or, if you’ve got one behaving, but the other is acting up, you can take control of just one of the two screens.

Want to keep an eye on the movies they’re watching? When appropriate, come to a complete stop and shift into PARK. Use Parental Controls to select the screen you want to check in on. If you can’t stop, just press LISTEN IN and you can hear what either screen is playing. If you need to step in and override what’s going on, you can always change media sources as needed.
