Hello, everybody! Today in my World of Warcraft adventures I am on a quest to find Schematic: Super-Charged Engine (https://www.wowhead.com/item=169609/s...) which drops from K.U.-J.O. (https://www.wowhead.com/npc=144246/k-...) in Operation: Mechagon (https://www.wowhead.com/zone=10225/op.... It's a rare drop and I see some people have had to run this many, many, many times before it drops so we will see how this goes. I'm not sure how many times I have ran it up to this point but I did 4 runs tonight (1 normal, 2 heroic, and 1 mythic) and no luck. Below are some tips on getting through this dungeon. Sometimes I play to kill everything and others I play to get through fast. Tonight I was trying to rush through as many runs as possible so I wasn't getting all the mobs.

The main thing to take note of is the location of HK-8 Ariel Oppression Unit (https://www.wowhead.com/npc=155157/hk.... You can see it on the map and you can see it flying in the air if you look around. You need to make sure you are defeating the bosses that the machine isn't circling so depending on it's location that will help you decide where to start and where to go next.

To be able to battle Gunker (https://www.wowhead.com/npc=150222/gu...) you will first need to seek out the three Toxic Monstrositys (https://www.wowhead.com/npc=150168/to...) that are near by to free the Squirt Bots (https://www.wowhead.com/npc=154759/sq...) to sanitize the area so that Gunker will appear. The one thing to be careful about is getting trapped in a blob of Goop. This is only an issue if you are attempting this dungeon solo because I am sure that if you have other group members with you, they can free you. I don't really have an issue with getting trapped but I did manage to get trapped on my last run through and it took me a while to get free. If you are trapped just try to run away and you get released eventually. I think it took me 2 or 3 tries before I was able to get out.

When defeating HK-8 Ariel Oppression Unit you will need to go to the Overcharge Station that is active to hack the machine. You need to get out of the main area pretty fast because the Annihilation Ray is fired and makes it so you can't stand on a large area of the ground. Be sure to watch out for the little robots (which I got careless about) so that you don't get sent back when trying to hack.

The next boss which always caused me trouble was The Platinum Pummeler (https://www.wowhead.com/npc=144244/th...) who is along with Gnomercy 4.U. (https://www.wowhead.com/npc=145185/gn...) in the Robodrome. I don't have any issues with Gnomercy but you need to draw the Platinum Pummeler to the edge of the arena and get him under the Piston Smashers (hammers around the outside) before you are able to do any damage. The hammer will stun you as well if you aren't careful so watch out for that. After you finish this you will get thrown down a tunnel so make sure you don't forget to pick up your loot from the chest at the bottom.

When having to avoid the robots in the steam, just take your time because I got careless and wound up getting detected several times which can get frustrating.

I think that's it as far as things I was having issues with during my first time running this dungeon in a while. I'm sure I had a lot more issues when I first tried it because I was a lot lower level but I don't remember what. All I know is it took me and my sister several hours to get through where now I can get through in about half an hour on my own.

Between the first and the second run I completed Junkyard Treasures (https://www.wowhead.com/quest=56139/j...) which requires you to open mechanized chests throughout Mechagon. While searching for these chests I did defeat Paol Pondwater (https://www.wowhead.com/npc=151702/pa...) which is one of the rare NPCs that can be found on the right large island in the Western Spray area of Mechagon.

Other than that I did am trying to collect Expulsom (https://www.wowhead.com/item=152668/e...) by scrapping any armor I collect in the dungeon so that I can get the last few levels of Engineering so that I can purchase the schematics for Blingtrom 7000 (https://www.wowhead.com/item=168660/s.... If I am not able to get the schematic drop I am going after, maybe I can get enough expulsom to level some other way.

I also get a ton of spare parts while completing this dungeon which I use to make Mecha-Bytes (https://www.wowhead.com/spell=301392/..., ) to get some gold.
