In this comparison review of the NordicTrack 2450 vs 1750 vs 1250, we take you through the similarities and differences between these treadmills.

As far as similarities, all of these models are the same size, they all fold, have the same decks with soft cushioning, and they stream iFit with a subscription. The Commercial Series treadmills are easy to use with the same streamlined console layout and we like that they’re a little more compact than the previous versions. The decks are 20” wide and 60” long. If you like a little more room width-wise, you might notice the narrower deck, but we don’t notice much of a difference.

Overall, this sized deck is appropriate for pretty much all running stride lengths and these treadmills fit better in more homes because they’re fairly compact. The cushioning in the decks feels the same on all of the models and they’re some of the softest decks to run on because of the forgiving cushioning.

As far as differences, the 2450, 1750, and 1250 all have different touch screen sizes. The 2450 has the largest screen which is 22”, the 1750 has a 14” touch screen, and the 1250 has a 10” touch screen. All of the screens are easy to see and reach, it just depends on which size you prefer.

All of the screens are all very adjustable. They tilt up and down and pivot to either side of the treadmill so you can see the screen for iFit mat classes like strength and yoga, as well as treadmill bootcamp classes where you’re on and off the treadmill.

They also differ in the motor sizes. The NordicTrack 2450 has a 3.6 CHP motor and the NordicTrack 1750 has a 3.5 CHP motor. There isn’t much of a difference between the two. They perform the same and can handle heavy running like distance training. The NordicTrack 1250 has a 3.0 CHP motor that we recommend for more light to moderate amounts of running. This motor size is usually the smallest we recommend for running.

They also vary in price. The 2450 is the premium model so it is the most expensive. The NordicTrack 1250 is the lowest-end model and a new addition to the Commercial Series. It is the least expensive. The NordicTrack 1750 is NordicTrack’s most popular treadmill and it’s now the midrange model so it’s usually priced somewhere between the other two.

Even with updates throughout the years, the Commercial Series is always one of the top series of treadmills that we recommend for home use. You really can’t go wrong with any of these treadmills, it just depends on what you’re using it for, your screen size preference, and your budget.
