What is CAP Theorem?
The CAP theorem (also called Brewer’s theorem) states that a distributed database system can only guarantee two out of these three characteristics: Consistency, Availability, and Partition Tolerance.

We take a very simple real-life analogy to explain this concept. By the end of this video, you'll be able to understand why it is impossible to design a system that is consistent, available, and partition tolerant.
