Movie Plot:
Ratan Kumar, a middle-class man, is coerced into committing a crime by Balram Singh, but he keeps a suitcase of diamonds for himself. When Balram learns of this, he sets fire to Ratan's house, and Ratan, believing his wife Pushpa dead, flees. Rescued by Dr. Sehgal, Ratan is taken to the palace of Maharani Maanwati, who mistakes him for her deceased husband and marries him. Years later, Ratan's son Sunder grows up and learns of his father's existence, leading to a series of misunderstandings and conflicts. Sunder, now calling himself Shyam, eventually discovers that Ratan is his real father and works to save him from Balram's schemes.
