Personal care can be distressing and uncomfortable for individuals who have suffered a stroke, have limited mobility, dementia, behaviours which challenge, or live with learning difficulties, and/pr autism. Traditional methods like showering, bathing, or bed-based washing can often feel undignified and uncomfortable for those in receipt of care.

We hosted a webinar to help care providers explore alternatives to traditional personal care methods. These alternatives delivered in a more dignified and person-centred way, requiring fewer carers and taking half the time.

Jess Efford from Nilaqua, established in 2009, explained a better way to provide personal care. This method used kinder chemicals, creates less waste, enhances dignity, reduces costs, and cuts personal care delivery time in half, all while using the UK’s number one eco personal care brand.
