Porsche GT2RS 991.2 COTA FUN - damp conditions

Well, what can I say...this thing is old now 😂. The 991.2 GT2RS is a monster. It's an addicting drive and fiesty for sure. The OG 997 GT2 will always be the Widow Maker but you can see quick hands are requried for pushing any GT2! Please don't make me explain the physics on REAR engine platforms and what happens as you burn off your fuel load...

Now, it was starting to come down (raining) and if you see my thumbs pointed up like this...that means I'm on high alert. I got red faced typing that...lol...my thumbs are a secondary visual input for precision. Less steering angle and being on the correct drive line, not 2 feet off the line!

I do love this car but all rear engine cars are challenged on low-medium speed corners. These platforms work best with full fuel...better balance! Go watch a cup car race and fast forward some when they start burning off their fuel. It's not my favorite drive but I was pretty damn gitty for a few days after driving this thing in worsening grip conditions.

Remember, we all want a car that brakes well, turns, accelerates hard, lays down power...full composure on vehicle dynamics. That all being said, physics first 😂

I'm going to try again in the dry soon and report back, I suspect I'll get around a 2:16 or so. brb
