On Friday, Notre Dame Football Head Coach Marcus Freeman met with members of the media to discuss the upcoming game with Miami at Hard Rock Stadium.

Irish Illustrated compiled highlights of the event.

Coach Freeman discussed the kicking situation, saying that the team would travel with three kickers, with Noah Burnette handling field goals and Marcello Diomede taking kickoff duties.

He also explained why Notre Dame hasn't been using soaked balls in practice, saying that while the Irish have had practices in the rain, he doesn't place as great a premium on artificially simulating rain by soaking the footballs.

Freeman concluded by discussing what he has seen from CJ Carr this week, stating that he believes the QB will be ready for the moment on Sunday.
