The story of the American West is full of tales of Lone Rangers, but many times these guys left town in search of more than cows or gold. They went west to find themselves. And often someone else. Even cowboys got the blues and often sought love and affection from fellow queer pioneers. Even if they never said it out loud, it was there more often than any classic matinee Western would have you believe. Truth is stranger than fiction. More interesting and romantic too.

Love is love. Always was. Always will be.
