What is MCC?
-----------------------The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) is an innovative and independent U.S. foreign assistance agency that is helping lead the fight against global poverty.

The board of Directors of MCC first selected Nepal for compact in dec 2014

Formally voted to approve the compact in august 2017

mcc First recipient in south Asia

Ex-finance Gyandera Bahadur Karki - September 2017 signed an agreement in Washington.

Questionable area of mcc

1. no access to gov without permission at project area
2. Accounting will be handled by the authority of mcc
3. tax should be completely free,
4. mcc will decide about the kind of employment & equipment in the field.
