Today we travel to The Mohicans Treehouse Resort and Wedding Venue to stay at one of their newest Treehouses, The View Treehouse. The Mohicans Treehouse Resort is located in Glenmont, Ohio and it is the best family adventure and vacation. The Treehouses are a luxury resorts up in the trees. There are many different treehouses to choose from. Thereare small love nests for couples and fun adventure treehouses for families. Today we arrived in our new home it the trees, The View. We have steep steps up to a shaky bridge. Built to be a shaky bridge I assure you. The treehouse has a wrap around porch with outside seating and an outdoor shower for use in warm weather. I should also mention we have our own fire pit with chairs and a swing under our treehouse. Every treehouse at The Mohicans has a keyless entry. A code is texted to guests before check in so you don't have to see any other humans on your secluded stay. Inside our treehouse has a tiny but efficient kitchen with marble counter tops. The floor, walls ceilings and shelves are all made with reclaimed wood from an old barn. The kitchen has a refrigerator, cook top, toaster oven, coffee machine and all the gear you need to prepare a meal.
The living room is how this treehouse got its name...The View! Its floor to ceiling windows into an endless woods is such an incredible view. The living room has a TV that plays DVD's and a comfy couch. Their is also indoor plumbing! That is my kind of camping....a flushing toilet and a handsome shower with subway tiles and a sink.
The upstairs loft is were the two queen beds are located with more windows. The whole treehouse has a tin roof, so we fell asleep to the sound of rain hitting the tin.
We had wholesome family fun with no internet. We played board games and watched family friendly films, cooked warm stews and played games. We had a beautiful and peaceful sleep up in the trees in our loft bedroom. The Mohicans Treehouse Resort is one of the most unique lodging in Ohio. The treehouses are romantic getaways, family adventures, or solitude for a single traveler. The Mohicans Treehouse Resort is a must do in Ohio and The View at The View was incredible and should not be missed.
