Horley's Surrey Challenge Cup ends with an away fixture to Croydon CC 1st XI. We lost to this team in the league cup last year so we wanted to set the score level in this on plus win the league undefeated! Horley set out bowling with great intensity taking early wickets, a big partnership from their middle order put some good and valuable runs on the board allowing their tail enders to come in and have a swipe! Horley set about their chase with a monumental collapse held together by Ross Nell who played a spectacular innings with no-one else keeping their wicket around him. We held out to the last over and ran out of fingernails to bite! WHAT A GAME!
