Relief Pitcher Dave Leiper’s final outing as a professional baseball player. Appears in the bottom of the eighth to face the Atlanta Braves. this may not have been the best appearance of the year. However, it did mark the end of Dave Leiper‘s 14 year career. Dave played for the Montreal expos the Philadelphia Phillies, the San Diego padres and the Oakland Athletics. He may not have been a household name, but was a very effective reliever with incredible numbers that would stack up to relief pitchers from any era.
