As you walk home, you decide to take a shortcut through the alley to get home quicker and get out of the rain. As you walk through, you hear a small electrical sparking and the sounds of a broken and scared protogen. Being a mechanic, you take it in to fix it...

(In this world Protogens (essentially just furry androids) are seen as consumer products, and not as real living creatures)
