Join us as we take a daytime walkthrough of Forbidden Valley at Alton Towers, where the highly anticipated Toxicator has made its debut. This new elevated topspin ride brings high-intensity thrills back to the area, offering a modern replacement for the much-missed Ripsaw. As we explore, we’ll take in the sights and atmosphere of this iconic themed land, known for its intense rides and dramatic storyline.

Forbidden Valley is home to some of Alton Towers' most famous attractions, including Nemesis Reborn, which reopened in 2024 after a major transformation. The area also features Galactica, Nemesis Sub-Terra, Bunker 94 featuring Nemesis Reborn and Toxicator merchandise and the immersive Rollercoaster Restaurant. The SkyRide stops here, connecting visitors to Tower Street and the Dark Forest, while an exit provides direct access to the resort hotels. Sadly, The Blade has now been removed from the area.

At the center of Forbidden Valley, Toxicator has taken over the site once occupied by Ripsaw, reintroducing a topspin experience to the park. This new ride towers 78 feet high, offering intense spins and flips above a bubbling vat of "toxic alien acid," tying into the Nemesis storyline. Guests who once missed Ripsaw now have an exciting new ride to experience in its place.

Forbidden Valley has a long history at Alton Towers. Originally named Thunder Valley, it was home to rides such as The Beast, Beastie, and Thunder Looper before being transformed in 1994 into the post-apocalyptic landscape we know today. This reimagining coincided with the debut of the original Nemesis, one of the world’s most celebrated inverted coasters. Since then, the area has continued to evolve, adding new attractions and expanding its lore.

Alton Towers has long been a leader in world-class attractions. Established as a theme park in the 1980s, the resort has introduced record-breaking coasters like Nemesis, The Smiler, and Oblivion, drawing millions of visitors each year. With Toxicator, the park once again sets a new standard for thrill rides, ensuring Forbidden Valley remains one of the most intense and immersive areas in the UK.
