Cumin / Jeera Rice , is one of the most easiest and tasty recipe .To make this simple and easy recipe, Basmati rice is cooked with Jeera and other mild spices. It is served with veg and non-veg gravy side dishes like paneer butter masala, veg korma, paneer tikka masala , chicken tikka masala, chicken butter masala, even for dal fry and dal makhanni. Jeera helps to digest the foods better. So it is ideal to make it when planed for a heavy meal.

Ingredients:-

1. Basmati Rice - 1 cup
2. Cumin Seeds / Jeera - 1 tsp
3. Bay leaves, Cinnamon, Green / Black Cardamom, Black Pepper Corn, Cloves.
4. Chopped Green Chili (Optional)
5. Broken Cashew Nuts - 25 gm
6. Salt to taste
7. Ghee / Cooking Oil
8. Butter
