Playing Sonic Forces: Boost too Thin? (Analysis/Review)

Surely Sonic is supposed to get better as it goes downhill? Well, we'll see, as today we're playing Sonic Forces! The latest entry goes for three playable characters and a background of a world conquered by eggman, so weird looking animal freaks fight back to save the world. Can the resistance win, or is Sonic's Boost too thin?
Recorded on the tail end of a cold, so I may sound throatier a lot of the time, and some of my readings come off as harsher sounding than I'd like. The Sonic Fanon wiki removed gun for being a "recolor" wow rude.
