iOS 18 introduces a HUGE redesign of the Control Center with entirely NEW personal customization, new icon shapes and sizes, and options for multiple, easily organized pages!
The reinvented Control Center allows you to rearrange controls and resize them into bigger icons. It also comes with multiple pages; by default, you are given a Favorites page, Music page, Home Accessories page, and a Connectivity page. But you are not obligated to use these! You can edit and rearrange these pages and add many more pages if you choose! More color has been brought into the control center: the background of the Now Playing widget reflects the album art, the brightness and volume indicators have color now, and many more widgets, such as the timer, have colored icons when they are activities. The Music, Connectivity, and Home panels have been redesigned with a new look that allows for more customization for the size of controls. The new control center also comes with new controls such as a VPN toggle, controls that open the Home app, or any other app using a shortcut, a Shortcut control, the Tap to Cash feature in Wallet (which is new in iOS 18!), and dozens of others including accessibility controls for each accessibility feature, including many new ones like Music Haptics.
Please NOTE: In the video, I often refer to each Control Center control as “widgets,” however, they are actually “controls.” I did not know this prior to recording.
