Question 1
A group of investors from USA are planning to set up various projects including factories in Ghana but they are concerned about uncertain state of the law relating to land in Ghana especially in the wake of enactment of Land Act 2020 ( Act 1036). Prepare a full memorandum briefing them on current state of land law in particular reference to issues that may be of concern to them as investors that will need land for their investment projects


Question 2
Explain how the Land Act 2020 ( Act 1036) protects persons interested in acquiring interest in land from fraud and the phenomenon of multiple sale of land

The Land Title Registration Act 1986 ( PNDCL152) embodied panacea to inadequacies of the Land Registry Act 1962 ( Act 122) so the Land Act 2020 ( Act 1036) in so far as relates to registration of interests in land was quite unnecessary. Discuss

To what extent does the Land Act 2020 ( Act 1036) provides panacea to problems and dissatisfaction that land owners encountered during compulsory acquisition or when the state triggered the doctrine of eminent domain
