Hybrid Supercars Are Taking Over! McLaren 570S vs Acura NSX

👋 In todays video we check out the Acura NSX alongside the McLaren 570S! Both of these are awesome supercars that pack a ton of performance and style! You can also buy a modern 570S or NSX for about $140,000 depending on the mileage and year. The McLaren 570S packs a twin turbo V8 while the NSX features a twin turbo V6 paired to a hybrid system. As we see more modern supercars coming out the hybrid technology is coming along with it! The new McLaren Artura has the hybrid system and even the new Lamborghini Revuelto has a hybrid. SO it seems like hybrids are coming full force! So testing out cars that have been around for a few year, does the NSX still offer all of the excitement you would want from a supercar? The Mclaren is fast and simple to drive and really was a lot of fun. The RWD and DCT work well together to deliver power. Its a great car to drive. The NSX was equally as fun and is super fast! I like how the electric motors give instant torque down low to fill in where turbo lag would be. That really makes the hybrid system shine for a turbo car. Also in sow speeds you can drive in EV mode which is a plus for loud cars! We each own a Lamborghini Gallardo and Audi R8 with aftermarket exhaust systems. Our cars are loud! SO it would be pretty nice to leave the neighborhood in EV mode and keep things quiet. So overall we think the new hybrid tech is going to make the next generation of supercars even more fun and offer a lot of benefits without loosing the raw feeling of a supercar!
