Divine Intervention (2003 Newgrounds Flash Game) In Its Entirety

Описание к видео Divine Intervention (2003 Newgrounds Flash Game) In Its Entirety

This is not a game that is bad because it is difficult, it is a game that is difficult because it is bad. If you do not think it looks so bad (ignoring how short it is), then while I don't suggest you play it for yourself, that is the only way you can understand. It is not hard to find in a search engine. As for why I did this, it was a whim. At least the video isn't nearly four hours of basically nothing.

I do not know why the Priest jitters when he is supposed to be walking or ducking. It was not worth troubleshooting.

It is best to shoot at the small ones by aiming slightly to the left of them, rather than directly at them. The hitboxes in this game are not great.

To the best of my understanding, the man must be beaten by sufficiently damaging both his chest and head if you are using the pistol or uzi (obviously, two in the head with the shotgun will deal with him as well). This makes the second man a real bother since there is no room to back up, and no way to face him alone.

If you don't jitter ever so slightly forward on the third and fourth screens, the small ones will be triggered alongside the man. This is not ideal.

As for the fat boss, the only threatening attack he has is the red slime, as it is awkward to jump over and his breathing fire and sweeping across the screen are both easily avoided by jittering/ducking. He does also has a lighting strike that cannot be avoided, but it is stopped by just shooting him in the face. He attempted it after the first time he breathed fire (his third move overall).

The intro is at the end because I was not willing to sit through it every time I had to redo the recording, as that was several times (I deleted all the failed runs, they were not important). I also will not do this again, so you will have to deal with the mouse being visible during the credits and the first second of the intro. It's more authentic that way, anyway.
