Am I saying the cure for the mental load is to get a divorce?? NO! 😅 BUT I do think the solution to the mental load is to have a partner that finds joy in lightning your load. Having a partner that knows how to step in and help without being asked. Having a partner that notices what you do and appreciates it.

If you are married to someone who truly loves you, they will make an effort. Sometimes you just have to have the conversation and present tools to make it easier.
Co-parenting is NOT FUN, so I would never recommend divorce….
However… If you have spent YEARS trying everything… and have hit a point where you can admit to yourself you are just being treated with total disrespect or worse… Y’all know I’m not judging a person who’s gotta do what they gotta do in order to model a respectful lifestyle for their kids.
And I share what I share to show single moms out there that there ARE men out there who will treat you AND your kids with respect 💕

Shared joy is double joy, shared work is half work (and even less when your kids see someone helping you so they jump up to help too)
