Perseid Meteor Shower - very easy way to catch Shooting Stars with Sony cameras. Tutorial.

Meteor Shower (Perseids, Leonids, Geminids and others) or just random meteors can be filmed or photographed in many ways. Are you looking for tips and tricks on how to catch Perseids 2021? This video is a tutorial in which I present a very easy way to impressively film Shooting Stars (and even the smoke that remains after some of them) using Sony cameras (those with the S&Q function - there are quite a lot of them). The presented method uses the S&Q - Slow & Quick Motion function built into the camera. All you need to do is choose the right parameters and... you have a movie with meteors. If your Sony camera is able to produce a 4k video in this mode, you can get some pretty cool meteor pictures from the freeze frames. If you have a camera of another brand, it is worth checking if it offers a similar option.

On the night of August 12-13, 2021, as every year, there will be the peak of the Perseid swarm. Single Perseids are already appearing in the sky. So maybe it's worth trying this way this year :)
