📍very similar to internal vertical mattress suture — diff is that the needle passes through the “loop” before the suture is tightened⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
📍allows for primary closure ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
📍great for papilla preservation flaps and in cases where membranes are present (GTR)⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
