The 2018 iPad 9.7-inch is almost exactly the same as the 2017 model — with a couple major differences. It has an Apple A10 Fusion processor, same as the one found in iPhone X. It also supports Apple Pencil — and the upcoming Logitech Crayon — every bit as well as the 9.7-inch iPad Pro.

The result is a starting at $329 iPad that may not be for everyone, but will be more useful than every before for students, creatives, and anyone who needs to annotate anything — ever.
