Deosai is a unique blend of alpine meadows, rocky plateaus, and beautiful lakes, and it boasts a diverse ecosystem. In summer, Deosai is a burst of vibrant wildflowers, including blue poppies, asteroids, and other high-altitude plants. The meadows and valleys come alive with color.
Deosai is famous for its wildlife. It’s home to the Himalayan brown bear, which is critically endangered and can be spotted in certain areas of the park. Other wildlife includes marmots, snow leopards, foxes, and hundreds of species of birds, including migratory species.
