Episode 139: Doubling Down on MJF and Cena

Shooters this is a different kind of episode of Shootin shit. Let’s say it’s like an OG episode, the reason why we started doing this. There are only 2 topics this week, but the arguing and defending of positions is grade A!

Of course we start off with that hour long AEW classic! But that’s the problem it was an AEW classic. Does the match or it’s result matter after it’s over? Do you care more or less for MJF or Ospreay? Did it come off feeling unsafe? In this segment we hit all that and more! Throw in a Silver Wolf apology to MJF and you have the first half hour of the show!

Like I said we are taking this one old school! We revive the Stirrin Shit Facebook question of the week segment to touch on something that long time listener Jerry Hayne wanted to know, does Ric Flairs legacy really stand the test of time? Did he deserve the 16 championships, and how does John Cena’s legacy match up to Flair’s?

The gloves come off in this spirited debate. We do recognize and validate Ric Flair as a draw and how his legacy entitled him to his 16 championships. We touch on if Flair would have success in other eras. Then we jump into John! This gets heated and is my segment of the show! We get a second helping of Silver Wolf apologies, but we still fight tooth and nail over Cena’s credentials, legacy and impact.

We wrap up the show with a quick blurb on the Wyatt Sicks and a little Phillies baseball!
