आज के वीडियो में हम आपको विश्व विख्यात अलगोजा वादक धोधे खान से मिलवा रहे हैं | धोधे खान अलगोजा बजाने बचाने के लिए भारत में नहीं पूरी दुनिया में प्रसिद्ध है | यह राजस्थान के बाड़मेर जिले की धोरीमना तहसील के एक छोटे से गांव दूधिया कला में रहते हैं | अलगोजा राजस्थान का एक परंपरागत लोक वाद्य है जो बांस की लकड़ी से बनाया जाता है | राजस्थान में अलगोजा पुराने जमाने से ही शादी विवाह और अन्य खास अवसरों पर बजाया जाता रहा है | इस अलगोजा में राजस्थानी लोकगीतों एवं अन्य गीतों की धुन बजाई जाती है, जो कि बहुत ही कर्णप्रिय होती है | इसी अलगोजे को बजाने में श्रीमान धोधे खान को महारत हासिल है | उनकी सबसे खास बात यह है कि वह भारत के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री राजीव गांधी एवं सोनिया गांधी की शादी में अलगोजा बजा चुके हैं और उनकी बारात में वह इटली भी गए थे | इसके अलावा उनका अलगोजा आकाशवाणी और दूरदर्शन पर भी खूब बजाया जाता है और आज भी लोकप्रिय है | सादगी पूर्ण जीवन जीने वाले धोधे खान ने राजस्थान के लोक संगीत को पूरी दुनिया में पहचान दिलाई है | धोधे खान ने अपनी वृद्धा अवस्था में भी राजस्थान के कण कण में बसे राजस्थानी लोक संगीत, लोकगीत, लोक वाद्य यंत्र , लोक कला आदि को जिंदा रखा है |

In today's video we are introducing you to world famous Algoja player Dhodhe Khan. Dhodhe Khan is famous not only in India but in the whole world for playing the bassoon. He lives in Dudhiya Kala, a small village in Dhorimna tehsil of Barmer district of Rajasthan. Algoja is a traditional folk instrument of Rajasthan which is made from bamboo wood. In Rajasthan, Algoja has been played since ancient times on weddings and other special occasions. Rajasthani folk songs and other songs are played in this algoza, which is very loud. Mr. Dhodhe Khan has mastered in playing this algoje. His most special thing is that he has played the algoza in the wedding of former Prime Minister of India Rajiv Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi and he also went to Italy in their procession. Apart from this, his Algoza is also played a lot on All India Radio and Doordarshan and is still popular today. Dhodhe Khan, who lives a simple life, has recognized the folk music of Rajasthan all over the world. Dhodhe Khan, in his old age, has kept alive Rajasthani folk music, folk songs, folk instruments, folk art etc. settled in every particle of Rajasthan.
