Reduce False-Positives Through Actionable Intelligence

Description:  It is a known fact that 80% of security alerts are false-positives. How do you find the 20% that can disastrously affect your environment? In order to find that "needle in a haystack," it's critical to understand your attack surface and coordinate your security posture. With the on-slaught of IoT devices, combined with BYOD, and traditional datacenter infrastructure, how can an organization sift through all potential alerts and threats without really knowing what they should be looking for? This session will provide guidance on how to manage the false-positive landscape, by blue-printing IP-addressed devices, and understanding how and when alerts are meaningful. By providing holistic visibility into your network landscape and applying intelligence to potential threats, you can minimize your attack surface and concentrate on what potentially could impact your organization.
