Better late than never. Here’s a bit of insight to a State Titles DH race from my POV.

Unfortunately, this is just the Saturday as someone completely forgot their #GoPro on Sunday, however, it was severely rained out and therefore cancelled due to the accessibility of the medics not being able to get to certain parts of the course.

As you’ll see, the ‘Seeding Run’ (last run of the day) on this Saturday afternoon ended up being the race run. We were all warned of the predicted weather and this being a likely outcome for the weekend. I managed to put down a solid, but reasonably chill run to keep it safe which fortunately granted me the win.

A huge thanks goes out to the club and the Commissaries for the call made to protect the riders and medical staff. It was an extremely tough call, but given the weather & track conditions, the right one in my opinion.
