In this video, I continue working on my fully illustrated playing card deck and focus on the Clubs suit. I show my digital illustration process in Procreate, from early concepts and sketches to finished card designs, and talk through the design decisions that came up along the way. The Clubs suit is inspired by gaming, tech, and ’90s nostalgia, which led to some unexpected challenges when it came to composition, color palettes, and integrating the club symbols into the artwork.

You’ll see how I develop consistent visuals across a full card deck, how I approach court cards versus number cards, and what it’s really like to manage a long-term illustration project of this size. I also share a mistake I made during the process that forced me to rethink the direction of the entire deck before moving forward.
