On the Drop Rigs | Match Fishing

On the drop fishing is a great way of catching fish that feed near the surface in the warmer months. The fish are intercepting the bait as it falls through the water or, as the names suggests… ON THE DROP.

These rigs are supplied with our clear blow moulded Crystal Caster pole floats which not only don’t spook those shy biting fish, but are also near indestructible! The spread out shotting pattern allows the rig to fall in an arc, giving the fish plenty of time to take your bait
Hook choice is the exceptionally strong size 18 wide gape pellet, ideal for baits such as maggot, caster, worm and soft pellets.


These rigs are available in 0.3g, 0.4g and 0.5g in 2m lengths to allow the angler to shorten to their desired length.
