TECHNICAL METHODOLOGY HELPED DWARKA POLICE IN THE ARREST OF THREE SNATCHERS WITH THE RECOVERY OF SNATCHED MOBILE

• SNATCHERS WERE ARRESTED ON THE BASIS OF TECHNICAL ANANLYSIS.
• ONE SNATCHED MOBILE PHONE RECOVERED FROM THEIR POSSESSION.

 BRIF DETAIL OF INCIDENT-
On 04.11.2022, an incident of mobile snatching was reported at PS Mohan Garden, wherein the complainant stated that while he returning from his job and when he reached near Jain Property, Jain Road, Mohan Garden, three unknown boys came from his back side and snatched his mobile phone and fled from the spot. As per the version of the complainant a case vide FIR No. 617/22 U/s 379/356/34 IPC was registered at PS Mohan Garden and investigation was taken up.

 TEAM AND OPERATION-
A dedicated team of PS Mohan Garden, led by Insp. Devendra Singh comprising SI Manish, ASI Hans Kumar, ASI Chitter Singh, and HC Dinesh Kumar under the overall supervision of ACP/Najafgarh, Sh. Satish Dahiya was constituted to nab the accused persons and solve the snatching case at the earliest.
The team of PS Mohan Garden swung into the action and visited the spot of the incident and analyzed the CCTV footage of the spot and surrounding areas. Secret informers were also deployed into the area to get any clue regarding such active criminals in the area.
The CCTV footage was technically analyzed and the footage was amplified so as to identify the face of the suspects. They tried their best to mislead by changing their route discriminately. The suspects were then identified as Vinit Kumar R/o L-Extension, Mohan Gardan, Age 18 years, and Robin R/o Subhash Colony, Bhallabhgarh, Haryana, Age 18 years.
On 09/11/22, secret information was received by the team regarding one person namely Vinit Kumar who was involved in the recent snatching incident and is currently present at his home at L-Extension, near Teen Wala School, Mohan Gardan. Accordingly, the raiding team reached at L-Extension, near Teen Wala School, Mohan Gardan and the accused Vinit Kumar was apprehended by the team. On interrogation, he disclosed the whereabouts of two other accused persons. At the instance of accused Vinit Kumar co-accused were also apprehended by the team. During interrogation, they disclosed their identity as Vishal R/o Bharat Vihar, Kakrola, Delhi, Age 23 years, and Robin R/o Subhash Colony, Bhallabhgarh, Haryana, Age 18 years. During their search snatched mobile phone was recovered from their possession. Accordingly, all the three accused persons were arrested in this case.

 ACCUSED ARRESTED-

• Vinit Kumar R/o L-Extension, Mohan Gardan, Age 18 years.
• Robin R/o Subhash Colony, Bhallabhgarh, Haryana, Age 18 years.
• Vishal R/o Bharat Vihar, Kakrola, Delhi, Age 23 years.

 RECOVERY-

• 01 snatched mobile phone.
