This is one of my first videos that went viral across all my social platforms:

A lot of people had been asking me to take photos of cats....

Unfortunately that’s a little more difficult in Vancouver, since there aren't many stray cats - and most people don’t walk their cats 😅

HOWEVER…

I was walking near Commercial Drive, and saw this incredibly handsome cat hiding under a car.

I looked on his name tag and it read ‘Cecil’ 😼

I asked if I could take his photo…

… and he happily obliged. 😻

STORY UPDATE

The owners ended up seeing the photos of Cecil and asked me out for a coffee to thank me.

I asked all about Cecil, including his funky hairdo.

Turns out Cecil loves his hair like this! He has really thick hair, and in the summer time he gets visibly upset when his hair is long.

As soon as they cut it, he becomes very happy and playful.

Cecil is well loved and cared for in the neighbourhood, and lots of neighbours let him into their homes to nap and chill.
