Shane: Hey guys, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today we have a 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty. We're going to be taking a look at the WeatherTech custom auto floor liners. These are not only going to be available in black, but they're also going to be available in tan, gray, and cocoa. They're going to work with bucket seats or a bench seat. A lot of reviews that we have gotten from people that have used these mats are very pleased with them.
They're pleased with the coverage and they're pleased with the lot less cleaning that they're going to have to do. These are going to be a thermoplastic material, very durable. It's going to have a plastic inner material, and then on the outside, it's going to have a rubber material to give it grip, not only on your carpet, but on your feet.As I mentioned, these are going to be custom floor liners. You're going to see they're going to mold to your floor. You can see how it contours very nicely, comes high up in here in the back.
If we look up here by our brake pedal and our fuel pedal, you can see it goes very high up there. It's going to keep anything that's on your feet, or may be on your feet or spilled, on the mat and off of your carpet. These mats are going to come with hold-downs that connect directly or attach directly to your factory hold-downs on your carpet. If we come over here to our door sill, you can see our mat comes over the top of our door sill. So it's got plenty of protection here, whether we're getting out of the vehicle or in the vehicle.
We're going to have raised channels in the center here. This is going to help divert water, dirt, and debris from the bottom of our shoes. Again, help keep it on the mat. Raise our feet up, help them dry a little bit faster. As you can see here, the owner of this truck uses this truck as a work truck. I'm going to throw the factory mat in so you can see how much more coverage our WeatherTech mat has.
It'll line up with our factory hold-downs. And you can see how much more coverage we have. This is a lot less cleaning we're going to have to do. It's going to keep a lot of stuff on the mat, again, off the carpet. To install them, you simply slide them in place. If your passenger side has factory hold-downs, like your driver's side, you simply just push them and they lock into place. You can see, passenger side is going to have the same amount of coverage, raised containment walls keep everything on the mat, off the carpet. We're going to have raised channels again, to help keep our feet up off that dirt and debris and help channel that dirt and debris away from the bottom of our shoes. These are also designed to hold up against most chemicals, like your oil, battery acid and road salts. One thing I do want to point out, you'll notice how it really isn't fitting right up against the kick panel here or down here on the bottom. These do come in a box. So what I suggest doing is setting it out in the heat for a little bit, let this warm up, and then set it in place and it will conform to your floor. That's going to do it for a look at the WeatherTech custom auto floor liners on our 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty.
