How to Pack Your Own Silica Gel Cartridges for Automated Flash Purification WITHOUT Spending $1200

This is a very specific video, but I hope that some labs may find it useful! Companies sell cartridge packing devices that can cost around $1200. Essentially, these devices are sonicators with a vacuum pump. Identical cartridge packing can be obtained utilizing my method, which does not require such drastic purchases. Labs can now pack their own functionalized silica into reusable cartridges.

The life of these cartridges has yet to be determined, but I have been using my own C-2 silica cartridge for over a month now and have had no issues. Just be certain to dry load so polymeric material remains behind.
